Nosiphiwo Sambane

Communications Intern

Nosiphiwo Sambane is a Communications Intern at the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Coalition (SRJC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Western Cape (UWC), where she majored in Psychology, Sociology, and Linguistics, and an Honours degree in Linguistics – Language Pathology discipline. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), qualifying her as an English and Life Orientation teacher.

Nosiphiwo’s background in linguistics and social sciences has informed her passion for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) particularly the power of language, education, and advocacy in shaping attitudes toward gender, sexuality, and justice.

At SRJC, she contributes to strategic communications. She believes that education and effective communication are transformative tools for empowering individuals, dismantling stigma, and building a society where every person can access their rights with dignity.
