Constance Nothando Mathe is the National Coordinator of the Asijiki Coalition for the Decriminalization of Sex Work in South Africa and Chairperson of the SRJC Board. She is also a Strategic Advocacy Human Rights (SAHR) Fellow, Global Atlantic Fellow, and co-founder of the Black Sex Work Collective. Constance produces and presents Straight Talk on Sex Work on Cape Town TV, spotlighting sex worker rights and policy reform. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with organizations like Triangle Project, the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation, and the Women’s Legal Centre. She holds diplomas in Project Management and Legal Studies, and currently serves on the Women Rights Watch advisory board. Through her leadership and media advocacy, Constance continues to champion the decriminalization of sex work, amplify marginalized voices, and push for gender justice and legal reform rooted in dignity and equality.
