Lucy is an Award-winning South African Activist. In 2021 she was named one of the top 200 Young South Africans in the Health by the Mail and Guardian. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Health, and holds a Masters’ degree in Medical Anthropology, University of the Witwatersrand. Her research and advocacy are in sexual and reproductive health and menstrual hygiene. She advocates for women’s empowerment, and gender equality.
